Job Overview
We are seeking an Audiologist to join our healthcare team. As a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders, you will be responsible for providing audiological assessment services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of clinical expertise and strong communication skills. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments, including hearing tests and balance evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in audiology
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Audiology
- Licensure by the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience
- Experience working with adults and children preferred
- Ability to perform sedated ABRs preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
