We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our distribution centre operations and drive performance across a large business.

This is a critical leadership role overseeing a team of 300+ staff, servicing multiple leading FMCG organisations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex operational environments and a strong track record in developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a diverse operational team to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Drive operational excellence and accountability across the group, with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and service delivery.
  • Oversee end-to-end distribution centre operations, ensuring best-in-class execution for major FMCG clients.
  • Implement and enhance processes to optimise profitability, service levels, and cost control, ensuring ongoing commercial success.
  • Champion a strong safety and compliance culture, ensuring adherence to OH&S regulations.
  • Leverage data-driven decision-making to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve operational performance.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and execute business growth strategies, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Drive engagement, capability development, and succession planning across the operational workforce.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in managing multi-site operations within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams in complex operational environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in optimising EBITDA and managing large-scale operations.
  • Deep understanding of warehousing and distribution, with the ability to drive operational efficiencies and strategic improvements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
