- Assist the head site manager with day-to-day tasks
- Lead site inductions, manage health and safety protocols
- Conduct quality assurance checks across the site
- Perform general labor and assist trades as needed
- A qualified carpenter with experience in residential construction
- Ability to liaise with subcontractors, set trade schedules and ensure site efficiency
- Willingness to perform hands-on labor when required
- Attention to detail and passion for career growth and site management
- Lead a team of construction staff to deliver projects efficiently and safely
- Manage site operations, including inductions, health and safety, quality control and labor management
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate construction activities
- Maintain accurate records and reports on site progress and performance
- Proven experience as a leading hand or supervisor in construction or a related field
- Qualifications in building construction, civil engineering or a related trade
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
