Nursing Director Position

This role is responsible for overseeing clinical and care services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive clinical assessment and review of residents' care needs.
  • Provide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centered care.
  • Actively support and work cohesively with the clinical care team.
  • Support in identifying training needs and performance management of clinical and care staff.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the admission process for new residents.
  • Review residents' assessments prior to requests for AN-ACC re-classifications.
  • Completion of Mandatory Quality Indicator Data.
  • Analysis of monthly clinical KPI data.
  • Review and investigation of clinical incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements:

AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse)

Experience as a clinical nurse manager, preference will be given to candidates with leadership experience in aged care.

Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based clinical and care practices.

Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement, accreditation requirements, AN-ACC funding requirements, and documentation.

Experience with clinical problem solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality, resident-focused care.

Satisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks.
