The exciting opportunity as our Director of Nursing in Grafton:

  • Lead daily operations of our 61-bed aged care facility
  • Manage the homes roster, ensuring adequate staff are available to meet residents' needs and care minute requirements
  • Maintain accreditation compliance, lead the transition to the strengthened standards, and support a culture of continuous improvement by creating and implementing quality initiatives
  • Build productive connections with external stakeholders and maintain the positive reputation in the community to maximise occupancy
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by developing and maintaining productive relationships with residents and their families and managing feedback
  • Maintain an environment where safe, effective, and high-quality care is delivered to our aged care residents, and their needs are consistently met

About you:

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA and experience working as a Director of Nursing / Facility Manager in residential aged care
  • Fair, kind and objective manager who leads a collaborative team and cultivates a positive workplace culture
  • Proven ability successfully managing budgets and meeting aged care legislation
  • Builds productive relationships with all stakeholders, is proactive, solution focused and embraces the unique challenges of working in a regional home
  • Committed to person-centred, relationship-based care that upholds the dignity and respect of all residents
