About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Marketing professional to join our esteemed Department of Management and Marketing at Swinburne University of Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops, as well as assessing students in the relevant business discipline, both on campus and online.

Key responsibilities will include developing and supporting academic programs, collaborating with the academic team to implement program changes and innovations. As a Marketing Lecturer/Senior Marketing Educator, you will also mentor and counsel students on academic matters and may supervise honours, master's, and PhD students.

A key aspect of this position is contributing to the School's research output, income, and impact. You will be expected to undertake administrative tasks associated with your teaching duties and participate in the overall management and administration of the School. Additionally, you will engage in activities that strengthen and expand existing partnerships with government, businesses, communities, and professional organizations both in Australia and internationally.

About You

To be suitable for this role, you will need to have experience in the following key areas:

  • Teaching, associated administrative duties, coordination, and curriculum development at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a strong focus on innovative education and blended learning formats.
  • Academic leadership and research in the university context, with a track record of publishing in discipline-relevant quality academic journals and conducting impactful research.

Qualifications

An earned doctoral qualification in the relevant discipline or a related field is required.
