School Facilities Manager

As a key member of the school's operational team, this role provides leadership and management of facilities maintenance and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with contractors to ensure efficient management of facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maintain building integrity.
- Oversee policies for key issuance and facility hire agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee security and safety compliance.
- Maintain buildings and grounds, procuring furniture and fittings as needed.
- Support capital works projects and coordinate minor works efficiently.
- Manage Work Area Access Permits for contractors on school grounds.
- Oversee facility hire activities, liaising with hirers and developing agreements.
- Lead cleaning operations, reviewing areas and supervising staff.
- Manage telecommunications systems and report issues.
- Prioritise work commitments to meet service standards and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Assist in identifying maintenance requirements based on reports and school needs.
- Provide administrative support for operational requirements.
- A current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) is mandatory.
