About The Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Production Operator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of our wooden pallet manufacturing facility.


Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of machinery and equipment, including fixed and mobile plant, to facilitate the production of high-quality wooden pallets.
  • They will also be required to sort, stack, and strap timber or finished pallets for shipping and delivery.
  • In addition, they will be responsible for general labouring duties, ensuring that the work area is clean and free of debris at all times.
  • Inventory management is also a critical aspect of this role, requiring the ability to ensure a smooth production line with minimal delays or hold-ups.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on Health & Safety, ensuring that their actions promote a safe working environment across all areas of the site.
  • Daily pre-start inspections of fixed and mobile plant, as well as equipment, will also be a key responsibility.
  • Forklift operation will also be required, enabling the movement of products around the site.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
  • Previous experience in machine operating, labouring, manual handling, or a production environment is highly desirable.
  • A positive attitude, combined with reliability and punctuality, is essential for success in this role.
  • Competence in operating specific plant machinery safely and efficiently is also crucial.
  • A strong commitment to safety is vital, with knowledge of Risk Management and Workplace Health & Safety practices.
  • A forklift license is highly advantageous, while knowledge of the Timber Industry is also favorable.
