About the Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Plant Operators to join our team on a Permanent Full-time basis.

Working across different equipment and machinery is an exciting challenge we're looking for individuals to take up.

Job Details

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand-new Pallet site based in Morwell, as we continue to grow and expand our business.

You will complete a range of tasks to assist in our production processes and play a key part in processing sawn timber into pallets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operating fixed and mobile plant equipment to facilitate the production of wooden pallets with high efficiency.
  • Sorting, stacking and strapping timber or finished pallet to ensure smooth shipping and delivery process.
  • General labouring and pallet mill duties including maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Inventory management to prevent delays and disruptions in the production line.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on health & safety across all areas of our site.
  • Conducting daily inspections of fixed and mobile plant, and equipment pre-start checks.
  • Driving a forklift to move products around the site safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in machine operating, manual handling or in a production environment is highly desirable.
  • A positive attitude at work, reliability and punctuality are essential.
  • Safety competence in operating specific plant machinery is necessary.
  • A strong commitment to safety is crucial.
  • A forklift license is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the timber industry is favorable.
