Job Overview

Civil Electrical Labourers play a vital role in maintaining road infrastructure by assisting with underground reticulation work.

This position requires a skilled Labourer with a HR Truck Licence to collaborate with tradespeople and plant machinery on various projects.

  • Labouring duties in line with underground reticulation works, including repairs to street lights and traffic signals
  • Safe operation of onsite trucks and spotting on site machinery
  • Assisting tradespeople and maintaining a safe and clean work environment

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Labouring Duties:

  1. Assist with underground reticulation work, including repairs to street lights, traffic signals, pit and pipe work, laying cables, and collaborating with tradespeople and plant machinery
  2. Operate onsite trucks safely and assist with spotting on site machinery
  3. Collaborate with tradespeople to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

  • HR Truck Licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
