Casual Plant Operator

Our organization seeks a Casual Plant Operator to support our harvest season at the grain terminal.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, handling and maintaining grain within set standards
  • Loading grain on export vessels ensuring correct quantity, free of contaminants and specifications
  • Maintaining high standards of site hygiene
  • Receiving instructions for collecting, preparing, testing and storing grain samples
  • Maintaining a safe working area for all employees and customers
Key Qualifications:
  • A commitment to workplace safety and contributing to a safe work environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Basics computer skills
  • Willingness to acquire basic machinery knowledge and experience
  • Capability to work at heights, confined spaces, use compressed air lances and areas with high grain dust concentration
