About This Opportunity

  • Loading, unloading, delivery, installation, and packing up of furniture is a key responsibility for this role.
  • Furniture must be disassembled if required for removal, and new furniture assembled as needed.
  • Organizing stored furniture when requested, positioning furniture for staging or styling, hanging wall art, steaming beds, cleaning, wiping, and dusting furniture are also essential tasks.
  • Removing wall art, patching, and painting walls as necessary, as well as repairing furniture when required, form part of the job.

The Ideal Candidate

  • This individual should be able to lift and maneuver furniture efficiently.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking is necessary to effectively position furniture in certain spaces.
  • Able to work at a brisk pace and maintain neat and tidy presentation throughout.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are vital for success in this role.
  • Prioritization and multitasking abilities are also crucial.

Ideal but Not Essential Qualifications

  • Furniture removal experience would be beneficial, although not essential.
  • A Medium Rigid MR License and Car Licence would be advantageous.
