**Job Description:**The Acting Middle Leader role is a temporary full-time position that involves supporting the pastoral and well-being needs of students in a selected stage. This will involve working closely with the Leader of Student Wellbeing and the Principal to ensure a positive learning culture.**Key Responsibilities:**
  • SUPPORT STUDENTS' WELL-BEING: Provide support and meet the pastoral and well-being needs of students in a selected stage.
  • COLLABORATE WITH LEADERSHIP TEAM: Work collaboratively with the Leader of Student Wellbeing and the Principal to ensure a positive learning culture.
  • ASSIST SCHOOL LEADERSHIP: Assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school, contributing to implementing the school's vision and mission.
**Essential Selection Criteria:**
  • UNDERSTANDING OF CATHOLIC VALUES: A deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • STUDENT WELL-BEING APPROACHES: A strong understanding of contemporary approaches to student well-being and management.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS: The demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively with staff.
  • SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS WITH CHALLENGING BEHAVIOURS: The demonstrated ability to support students with challenging behaviours.
  • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  • ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS: Well-developed administrative and organisational skills.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
  • ABILITY TO TEACH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: Ability and willingness to teach Religious Education.
