About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Supervisor to join our team at Qest Human Resources. As a Business Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful and efficient operation of our manufacturing and plumbing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing and plumbing business, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a small team of manufacturing and plumbing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Quality and Compliance
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and are compliant with relevant regulations and laws.
- Investigate and resolve any quality or compliance issues that may arise.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with our products and services.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on operational performance, including metrics such as productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or plumbing operations role, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop recommendations for process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Software and Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MYOB Exo or similar accounting software an advantage.
