Support Worker Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing person-centered care and support to clients
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and their families

We're seeking compassionate and skilled individuals who share our commitment to delivering exceptional care and support. If you have 2+ years of experience in aged care or disability, possess excellent communication and listening skills, and are adaptable and organized, we encourage you to apply.

To be successful in this role, you'll require:

  • National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old) or current NDIS worker screening check
  • Current First Aid, Manual Handling, and Hand Hygiene certificates
  • Certificate of Completion for NDIS Worker Orientation Module preferred for NDIS support worker roles
  • Current Drivers Licence and a roadworthy vehicle that is registered and insured
  • Completed online Department of Health COVID-19 infection control training
  • Previous employment in disability or aged care support work preferred
  • Certificate III (or higher) in a related community care field or current healthcare qualification
