We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax advice and guidance to clients, as well as preparing financial statements and tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in tax accounting, a strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
- Providing tax advice and guidance to clients on a range of tax matters.
- Assisting with the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters as required.
- Liaising with clients, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and other relevant bodies.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Strong understanding of taxation laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with complex tax issues.
- Working knowledge of MYOB, XERO, Castaway, Spotlight, and ability to pick up and work on other software as required.
