Emergency Medicine Specialist

The role of an Emergency Medicine Specialist is a challenging and rewarding position at one of Australia's largest hospitals. As part of our team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, treating patients with emergency medicine services.

Located in Western Australia, the hospital offers a unique blend of professional opportunity and coastal lifestyle. You will have access to supportive consultants, friendly nursing staff, and a strong ED team culture.

The ideal candidate will provide 16+ hours of daily FACEM coverage, with rotations available in critical care, anaesthetics, paediatrics, and general medicine. In addition, you will have up to 5 hours / week of protected teaching, including ED registrar CME and WBA sessions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality emergency medicine services
  • Supporting junior doctors in their medical training
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist who possesses:

  • Recent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • A passion for delivering excellent patient care
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • AHPRA registration or eligibility via competent authority pathway (UK, NZ, Canada, Ireland, USA)
