Job Title: Medical Care Professional
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a medical care professional in the General Medical and Cardiology ward. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalized care plans
- Provide care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, and arrhythmias
- Assist with medication administration and monitor patient response
- Accurately document clinical observations, vital signs, and nursing interventions
- Collaborate effectively with medical, allied health, and support staff to deliver holistic care
Required Skills and Qualifications:
For this role, we require:
A registered nurse or enrolled nurse with current registration with AHPRA
Relevant experience in acute care settings, preferably in medical or cardiology
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills
