Raytheon Australia is a trusted partner of the Australian Defence Force, delivering advanced technology and engineering solutions essential for national security. We are currently seeking highly skilled pilots with experience in Learjet 35A aircraft to enhance our aviation capabilities in the picturesque Shoalhaven region.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate our Learjet 35A aircraft, executing flight operations that support critical electronic warfare training and certification services. This role may involve both domestic and international deployments, with options for relocation or FIFO arrangements available for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a member of the flight crew for our specialized EW Learjet 35A missions.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure and efficient operational environment.
  • Take on the role of Deployment Commander in rotation with fellow aircrew members.
  • Contribute to the development of tactical procedures and standards for electronic warfare flight operations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Possession of a CASA Part 61 Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) and a valid CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Completion of CASA Multi Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, Low Level Rating (Aeroplane), and Instrument Rating (Multi Engine Aircraft).
  • A minimum of 2000 hours of total flight time, including 1000 hours as Pilot In Command (PIC) and 800 hours of turbine experience.
  • At least 6 years of flying experience in military aviation operations.
  • Desirable military pilot fast jet experience, equivalent to RAAF Introductory Fighter Course (IFC).
  • Ability to serve as an alternate Head of Operations is highly regarded.
  • Additional CASA qualifications such as Flight Instructor or Flight Examiner are advantageous.
