We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. This rewarding role involves providing support and services to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and social inclusion.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of others. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality support and services to people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Accompany participants on outings and engage in activities that promote social inclusion and independence.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with disabilities to participate in community activities and events.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with a diverse range of clients, and contribute to a team that is dedicated to providing exceptional support and services.
Requirements:- Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support.
- At least 6 months of full-time experience within the disability sector.
- Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Previous experience with Brain Trauma and/or High Complex Care.
- Manual Handling Certificate valid within the last 12 months.
- Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
- NDIS Worker Clearance or willingness to obtain.
