Disability Support Worker New South Wales - Part-Time Position - Located in Griffith

Join Kirinari Community Services for the Disability Support Worker role in Griffith (Part-Time).

Responsibilities
  • Support people in their day-to-day living and provide direct care in a 24/7 environment.
  • Provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living accommodations (SIL/Group Homes).
  • Assist with domestic and personal care tasks and help customers access and have a positive connection to the community.
About You
  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability.
  • Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
  • Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs.
  • Smart phone; current Australian Driver\'s Licence.

Our Disability Support Workers support people in their day-to-day living, providing quality 24/7 care in supported independent living settings (SIL/Group Homes) to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
