Your Role & Impact

We seek a communicative Geoscience consultant to implement and integrate our data in geotechnical engineering practices for mining customers.

As a champion, you will connect our products and services to demanding technical users, ensuring mining operations safety. You will be responsible for customer retention and support our sales team in various sales funnel stages.

You will integrate remote and on-site data, coordinate with users, and drive insight to optimize production while ensuring geotechnical safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own relationships with existing and incoming customers
  • Support sales team expansion in the Australian market
  • Consulting and consultative sales in various sales funnel stages
  • Conduct on-site visits to work with geoscience and engineering domain experts
  • Collaborate with InSAR Engineers in the Data Analytics team
  • Participate in industry events and evangelize our services
  • Configure and optimize data feeds for projects
  • Draw compelling visualizations of data
  • Rapidly learn about new technologies and related data
Requirements
  • M.Sc. in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or Surveying
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical expert in the mining industry
  • Knowledge of technical computing software is a plus
  • Excellent presentation and visualization skills
  • Ability to combine datasets in operations and engineering geology
  • Hands-on experience with GIS and related software
  • Work accurately with detail orientation on complex problems
  • Inquisitive self-starter with visualization and technical writing skills
