Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Nutrition and Health Promotion Specialist to lead our nutrition and health promotion programs in the Far West region of NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering clinical dietetic, preventive health and nutrition interventions for the management of chronic disease.

The role involves conducting local and outreach services in a wide range of settings, including schools, Early Years groups, and communities. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement health promotion activities that focus on illness prevention and education.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to consolidate their clinical skills while also contributing to our Chronic Disease Strategy. For new graduates, the workload may be organized into approximately 30% health promotion and 70% clinical, providing a great opportunity to gain experience and build their expertise.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community members, and children and adults with chronic conditions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:
