Job Description

The FP&A Manager role is a critical position that requires a strong financial acumen to drive business growth and strategic decision-making. As the second-in-command to the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, working closely with senior leadership, commercial, and operational teams.

This is a dynamic, commercially focused role where your analysis will directly support strategic decisions, pricing models, and growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influence business unit strategy formulation, implementation, and communication in line with key business unit strategy and objectives.
  • Be involved in key commercial decision-making.
  • Provide continued and ongoing support to the wider finance team, helping them to embed stronger business partnering, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases and major business growth projects.
  • Business partner with wider business and senior leadership team as a value-added strategic business partner in driving business KPIs and enhancing business decision-making through a well-managed business planning cycle.
  • Take ownership of the budgeting and planning process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA/CPA/CIMA qualification with a minimum 5-7 years' experience.
  • Experience in supporting senior leadership teams.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in Oracle and/or HFM.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Solid experience building and working with detailed financial models.
  • Prior experience within a subscription-based business would be advantageous.
