Job Title

is a premier steakhouse experience that showcases an extensive range of great wines, complemented by exceptional service. Our mission is to provide a unique and premium dining experience.

We seek talented professionals to join our team of hospitality experts, immersing ourselves in an in-depth quality training program and helping launch our brand-new restaurant concept. You will be working with an extensive, premium beverage offering from Australia, New Zealand, and international brands, matched with refined menus delivered by our 'A' team during the new restaurant opening.

Key Objective:

  • To help develop and maintain superior wine and beverage service and product standards for ultimate customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Providing guests with expert wine and beverage knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction within their experience.
  • Leading, developing, and educating the Beverage Team on a daily basis.
  • Supporting the floor team in delivering efficient wine and beverage service according to the sequence of service.
  • Assisting the floor team in increasing spend per head through maximizing wine and beverage sales and upselling premium products.
  • Ensuring all wine and beverages served are of the utmost quality, presentation, and respect.
  • Assisting with wine and beverage ordering, cellar, cool room maintenance, and stocktaking.
  • Maintaining glassware and decanters with 'Riedel' and providing glass training to staff.
  • Other relevant duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of premium wine and beverage experience.
  • Minimum WSET Level 2 required.
  • CMS Sommeliers Course (Introductory/Certified) is an advantage.
  • Effective planning and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Current RSA Certificate/Competency Card.
  • Exceptional personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Service experience, interest, skill, and success in the restaurant industry.
  • Excellent understanding of Australian wine, international wines/French/Italian/South American, spirits, cocktail knowledge & preparation, beer knowledge.
