
Integrated Planning Specialist

As a key member of the team, this dynamic position plays a vital role in building and socialising tactical and strategic long-term integrated sales and operations plans for coal haulage.
About the RoleThis position is based at the Hexham Operations facility, where you will work in partnership with leaders to optimise, socialise and embed the integrated sales and operations plan for coal haulage.
You will balance supply and demand strategies, maximise utilisation of assets and labour, and drive capacity planning outcomes that consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
With a strong focus on industry-leading integrated supply and demand planning practices, you will be responsible for:
- Building and socialising the Coal Integrated Plan: a demand, labour and fleet master plan
- Assessing capacity to deliver on new business and meeting growth in customer demand
- Harmonising supply and demand plans to maximise asset and labour resource utilisation and demand fulfilment
- Supporting business strategic decision making through the application of analytical techniques, interpreting supply chain and operational information
We are looking for a highly resilient individual who can thrive under pressure and handle competing demands. You will have superb negotiation and communications skills, as well as great conceptual and analytic skills.
A high level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and related data and planning applications is also required. Knowledge of rail supply chain would be an advantage but is not essential.
