Clinical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced medical support professional to fill this crucial role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and has a 'can do' attitude towards all tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Opening and closing the clinic as per set procedure
  • Greeting patients and other callers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Making appointments for patients
  • Managing medical records confidentially and efficiently
  • Processing patient payments via cash, Eftpos and direct bill transactions
  • Dealing with referring doctors, hospital staff and pharmacists courteously and helpfully
  • Attending to patient enquiries
  • Filling in the roster when staff is away, on holidays or sick leave
  • Maintaining the reception waiting area and consulting rooms tidy
  • Ensuring the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records
  • Maintaining confidentiality of patient personal and financial information

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, including multitasking, and will have exceptional customer service and teamwork skills. You will also have a high level of computer literacy and IT knowledge.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate strong organisational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
