About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Traffic Controller to join our team at Airservices Australia. As an Air Traffic Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of Australia's airspace.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing air traffic control services to aircraft operating in Australian airspace. This will involve coordinating the movement of aircraft, managing air traffic flow, and ensuring the safe separation of aircraft.

You will work closely with other air traffic controllers, pilots, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of air traffic control services. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of situational awareness, making quick decisions, and communicating effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide air traffic control services to aircraft operating in Australian airspace
  • Coordinate the movement of aircraft and manage air traffic flow
  • Ensure the safe separation of aircraft
  • Work closely with other air traffic controllers, pilots, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness and make quick decisions
  • Communicate effectively with others
Requirements
  • Hold a current rating and endorsement in an ATC environment
  • Hold an ICAO level 6 English language proficiency
  • A minimum 3 years operational experience (preferred)
  • Be able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application
