Job Title: Expert Weed Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as an Expert Weed Control Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Job Description:

As an Expert Weed Control Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation and application of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to designated areas. You will also be required to operate and maintain spray equipment safely and efficiently, while adhering to strict safety standards.

  • Prepare and apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to designated areas.
  • Apply chemicals for weed control and eradication.
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment following safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records of chemical applications and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Identify and report weed infestations.
  • Remove weeds mechanically when necessary.
  • Conduct routine litter clean-up and report any damage or issues found.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of colleagues, and the public during the application of chemicals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in weed control and spraying.
  • Valid ACDC licence.
  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
