Inventory Management Specialist

Lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment to ensure efficient logistical activities and accurate inventory control.

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team to conduct logistical activities in accordance with established processes and procedures.
  • Conducting receipting and issuing of stock using ERP systems.
  • Investigating discrepancies in stock levels, transactions, batch numbers, and serial numbers.
  • Performing physical warehouse inventory stock takes, documenting and certifying results, and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Participating in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) consultations, risk assessments, and controls.
  • Assisting in the management of the calibration and servicing schedule for all program Support & Test Equipment.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have demonstrated experience working in defence multi-functional warehouse operations, hold a Cert III in Warehousing or Transport and Distribution, and possess experience with Defence Computer Logistics System (ERP), CAMM2, and LNIDS. Preference will be given to candidates with ERP and/or SAP experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working in defence multi-functional warehouse operations.
  • Cert III in Warehousing or Transport and Distribution.
  • Experience with Defence Computer Logistics System (ERP), CAMM2, and LNIDS.
