Job Description

The Futures Employment Specialist will deliver highly individualised employment supports to NDIS participants, motivating and mentoring them to develop and establish their vocational identity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and mentorship to participants to encourage skills development and increase their capacity for work.
  • Delivering person-centred supports to participants transitioning from school to work.
  • Providing on-site support once employment has commenced and assisting with integration.
  • Traveling as required for service delivery and support of participants.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check.
  • Able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Able to complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement.
