Physiotherapy Career Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of the physiotherapy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, organise, evaluate and deliver quality, patient-centred physiotherapy care in accordance with professional standards.
  • Conduct thorough assessments addressing client issues and concerns, including referral to other services as required.
  • Formulate individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based knowledge.
  • Provide information and consult with clients about treatment plans.
  • Deliver effective treatment and provide clients with self-management skills.
  • Reassess clients and progress treatment when appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a recognised degree in Physiotherapy and authorisation to practice by a relevant regulatory agency. The successful applicant will also have demonstrated competence and good clinical judgement in providing individualised treatment for a broad range of clients.
