Training Instructor Position

This role involves providing training and administrative support to the C-27J Key Account Manager (KAM) and the C-27J Lead Instructor.

The successful candidate will be based at a military base and will be responsible for conducting mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate, delivering simulator instruction to pilot students, engaging with simulator maintenance technicians, and contributing to the development of training material.

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment and hold a minimum 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, and tactical transport aircraft.

Candidates with experience as a flight simulator instructor will be highly regarded. Additionally, having a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised experience is desirable.

As this role requires a SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, applicants must be eligible for this level of clearance and preferably already hold a current clearance.
