Job Title

Manage contracts with key customers to optimize performance, profitability and service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic planning and resource allocation across the national rail network.
  • Act as the key account manager—supporting both the customer and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive revenue analysis and profitability across accounts.
  • Follow up on invoicing and supporting accurate billing.
  • Identify and execute commercial opportunities for growth, including tendering and pricing.
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve operational issues or carrier performance gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and WHS obligations.
Requirements
  • Experience in supply chain operations and account management.
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of revenue models, rate cards, P&L, cost-to-serve, and commercial analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally with both internal teams and customers.
