The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the leadership team. This role offers the chance to oversee multiple projects, working closely with site teams, clients, and senior management to ensure successful delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and manage construction programmes using ASTA software.
  • Control budgets, monitor costs, and manage variations.
  • Implement and maintain high Health & Safety standards on all projects.
  • Ensure robust quality assurance processes are in place.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate delivery teams and junior staff.
  • Provide accurate project progress reports to senior management.
  • Support pre-construction and tender activities when required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar senior project leadership role within construction.
  • Strong track record of successfully delivering multiple projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency with ASTA programming software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and risk.
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
