E-Discovery Project Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled E-Discovery Project Manager to join our team in managing eDiscovery projects throughout Australia and other APAC offices. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in litigation support and eDiscovery processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Managing end-to-end eDiscovery tasks in RelativityOne, including data processing, reviews, active learning projects, and document productions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and recommend the use of Relativity and other eDiscovery technologies, automation, and processes.
  • Planning and implementing eDiscovery solutions on a case-by-case basis from data collection to trial.
  • Documenting and agreeing project requirements with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring eDiscovery projects meet requirements and adhere to deadlines.
  • Engaging with third-party service providers as required.
  • Assisting with negotiation of Exchange Protocols.
  • Producing reports and tracking documentation.
  • Managing lawyer and client expectations while delivering consultancy and advice on risk management, commerciality, and technical project elements.
  • Synthesizing relationships with internal teams, particularly Legal Delivery Centre, Legal Project Management, and Legal Technology teams.
About You

We seek an individual with significant experience and characteristics, including:

  • Experience in providing litigation support and managing eDiscovery processes in large-scale matters.
  • A strong blend of technical capability and consultancy expertise, coupled with written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery software, such as Relativity, Reveal Data, and Nuix, or equivalent platforms.
  • Familiarity with third-party service providers and their offerings.
  • Understanding of legal procedure and discovery requirements.
  • Ability to interact confidently with lawyers, partners, and external providers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Practical ability to identify efficient solutions to non-standard situations.
