Technical Lead Position

This is a highly technical role requiring a deep understanding of Oracle database technologies and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

  • Database Architecture: Deep understanding of Oracle database technology stack architecture, including infrastructure and storage. Focus on design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Database Security: Advanced knowledge of security best practices, encryption, auditing, and compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.
  • Automation & DevOps: Expertise in scripting and tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform or similar. Develop efficient automation workflows to streamline database management tasks.
  • Performance Tuning: Proficiency in using tools like AWR, ADDM and Event Settings for diagnosing and optimising databases. Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize database performance.
  • Exadata: Experience in Exadata maintenance, patching and performance optimisation. Troubleshoot Exadata-related issues and implement solutions to improve database performance.
  • Secondary Skills: Exposure to PostgreSQL, Cosmos or other NoSQL databases. Familiarity with data modeling, query optimization, and database migration techniques.
  • Programming Skills: Advanced SQL & PL/SQL, Python and Shell development skills are advantageous. Apply programming skills to develop custom database solutions and automate database tasks.
