Practice Lead @ HRG | Executive Search Consultant

As the Lead Database Administrator, you will manage and optimise database infrastructure while driving automation and digitalisation efforts. Your expertise in SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint will be crucial in enhancing workflows, improving efficiency, and delivering scalable digital solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee key projects, and ensure seamless integration of data-driven applications across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Database Management & SQL

  1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL databases.
  2. Develop and optimise queries, stored procedures, and Python scripts for ETL processes.
  3. Ensure database security, reliability, and peak performance.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

  1. Design and implement automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  2. Integrate Power Automate with SharePoint, Power BI, and other applications.
  3. Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance automation processes for seamless operation.

Application Development

  1. Build and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
  2. Design intuitive user interfaces and integrate Power Apps with various data sources.
  3. Develop and deploy both canvas and model-driven apps to address business needs.

SharePoint & Collaboration Solutions

  1. Customise and maintain SharePoint sites to optimise collaboration and document management.
  2. Develop and deploy SharePoint-based workflows and automation tools.
  3. Improve SharePoint security, performance, and user experience.

Driving Digitalisation & Innovation

  1. Identify and analyse business processes for digital optimisation.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement digital solutions that drive efficiency.
  3. Manage digitalisation projects from ideation to successful deployment.

Technical Support & Training

  1. Provide hands-on technical support for database, automation, and SharePoint solutions.
  2. Conduct training sessions and create documentation to support user adoption.

Continuous Improvement & Industry Best Practices

  1. Stay informed on emerging trends in database management, automation, and digitalisation.
  2. Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems and workflows.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  2. Extensive experience in database management and SQL development.
  3. Proven expertise in Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint development.
  4. Track record of successfully leading digitalisation and automation projects.

Technical Skills

  1. Proficiency in SQL and database management (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL).
  2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint).
  3. Familiarity with Power BI and data visualisation tools is a plus.

Soft Skills

  1. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills.
