The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuring Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform, along with a good understanding of Apache Kafka.
This role requires a detail oriented professional who can manage complex database environments and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
Configure and optimize Xtreme Components for effective database management.
Implement and manage Oracle XStream CDC Source connectors for the Confluent Platform.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business needs.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices.
Mandatory Skills: Proficiency in Xtreme Components Configuration.
Experience in Oracle XStream CDC Source connector for Confluent Platform Configuration.
Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration.
Preferred Skills: Good knowledge of Kafka and its integration with database systems.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with cloud database solutions and services.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.10+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Oracle databases.
Relevant certifications in Oracle Database Administration or related technologies are a plus.
