About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in cost planning, estimating, and measurement to join our team as an Associate Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and running the Commercial team, ensuring that all deliverables are met and services are delivered to the highest standard.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and run the Commercial team to deliver cost management services across multiple projects.
  • Perform cost planning and estimating duties, including measurement of quantities based on design drawings.
  • Responsible for pre-contract cost planning services during design stages of projects.
  • Integrate with full cost management and project management teams in Queensland and provide support when required.
  • Work independently and take responsibility for deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills
  • A recognised degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is desired.
  • MAIQS / MRICS certification is advantageous.
  • Consultancy environment work experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of CostX.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail, strong time management skills, and quick thinking to deal with a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to clients and ability to work independently.
  • Local project experience is desirable.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
