Workshop Technician Role

Goulburn-Murray Water is a leading rural water corporation in northern Victoria, responsible for storing and managing water across the region.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician to join our Infrastructure Delivery Services division in Tatura. The successful candidate will conduct repairs, maintenance, and commissioning of pumps, mechanical equipment, and machinery both locally and across the Goulburn Murray Irrigation District.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Fitting and Machinery
  • A car license and HR license
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Additionally, you should have experience in:

  • Mechanical service, maintenance, and repairs of pump station infrastructure, fleet of excavation/truck/plant and equipment, and automated assets (Flume gates, Flood/Reg gate/valves hydraulics and gearboxes)
