We're seeking a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to spearhead our security maturity program, working closely with the Head of IT & Security. As a key member of our technical team, you'll be responsible for driving security initiatives, evaluating and selecting security tooling, and implementing security controls.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's security posture. You'll work closely with our technical team to design, develop, and deploy secure systems, applications, and technology. Your expertise will be invaluable in interpreting security frameworks, developing policies, and procedures, and leading the implementation of security controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing security policies and procedures
- Collaborating with technical teams on security design, development, and deployment
- Configuring technical controls and participating in RFP processes for SIEM solution implementation
- Monitoring and investigating security-related incidents
- Leading the implementation of security controls and policies
- Communicating cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
You'll need to bring a strong background in network security, vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM tooling, risk assessment methodologies, and security frameworks (NIST/ISO27001). If you're passionate about driving security maturity and have a keen interest in security-focused tasks, we'd love to hear from you.
