Role Overview

As a key member of the Technology, Data & Digital (TDD) group at News Corp Australia, this role plays a crucial part in driving digital delivery and technology innovation for the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting the strategic direction for News Corp's enterprise architecture, ensuring it is scalable, adaptable, and synchronized with ever-changing business needs.
  • Aligning technology strategies with business goals and objectives.
  • Supporting News Corp's strategic planning processes by providing an architecture and technology strategy lens.
  • Working with business areas to ensure strategic imperatives are defined and set up for success.
  • Driving alignment and governance across various architecture domains.
  • Creating the current and future-state enterprise architecture and strategy-driven architecture roadmap.
  • Stewarding end-to-end architecture governance processes, ensuring adherence to architecture standards.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience, ideally leading a team.
  • Experience enabling technology strategy and Enterprise Architecture roadmaps with digital products.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading large-scale initiatives from ideation to delivery.
  • Media industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with architectural concerns related to data, security, digital, and consumer domains.
  • Exemplary communication skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex organization.
  • Management of architecture teams, focusing on achieving key deliverables.
