Job Overview:

Our animal welfare organisation is a key player in Victoria's landscape, renowned for its compassionate care of animals.

This role combines administrative tasks with a focus on customer service. You will work closely with councils and members of the public to receive and process incoming animals into the shelter.

The position involves efficiently locating information within our database and supporting the shelter team with other tasks. This is a part-time role, totaling 45 hours per fortnight, with a rotating roster that includes one weekend per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and process accurate information into our databases for all arriving animals.
  • Communicate with council officers regarding impounded animals.
  • Investigate microchip and identification data for incoming animals.
  • Organise logistics across multiple work sites.
  • Process and file incoming forms and transport requests.
  • Notify veterinary services as required.
