About the Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead fleet maintenance planning, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.

  • Promoting safety for all employees, adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Managing fleet maintenance business plans, aligning with company objectives.
  • Developing procurement plans to secure essential services, parts, and consumables.
  • Negotiating best prices for parts and managing workshop inventory.
  • Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring contractor performance.
  • Monitoring and reporting on fleet maintenance progress, budgets, and timelines.
  • Managing the workshop within budget constraints.
  • Maintaining fleet software records, including mileage, repairs, servicing, and manuals.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years' background working on heavy mobile maintenance in a mining environment, preferably coal mining.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Experience with mobile plant maintenance and familiarity with Pulse Maintenance Systems.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent time management.
  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, and environmental responsibilities.
