Job Title:

Site Civil Engineer

The primary role of this position is to work with the Site Team in achieving successful project delivery. This includes ensuring all site-related activities adhere to thorough understanding of drawings, specifications and quality, WHS, and environmental requirements.

  • Utilising a detailed comprehension of construction plans and implementation strategies.
  • Supporting development and maintenance of quality management systems on-site.
  • Coordinating daily project monitoring for toolbox inspections, checklists, documentation, and record keeping.
  • Providing input into updating the construction program and monitoring site activity.
  • Evaluating material procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assisting in maximising plant and resource utilisation during daily work activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing quality, safety, health, and environmental procedures at the project level.
  • Monitor and report progress on key performance indicators.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders and vendors to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Provide input into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2+ years experience as an Engineer in the civil industry, preferably within residential subdivisions/bulk earthworks.
  • Current White Card & Drivers Licence.
  • Strong commitment to upholding industry standards and practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • A proactive attitude with ability to show initiative and take ownership.
  • Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve strategically and analytically.
  • Confidence in using technology, including CRM-based applications and proficiency across Microsoft Office suite.
