We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welcome Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
About the RoleThe Welcome Desk Manager is responsible for leading the front desk team and ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience. This includes checking in and out guests, handling room assignments, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and for ensuring that the front desk area is always clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Provide exceptional service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and requests.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate the front desk team to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive attitude.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records and reports, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a front desk role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Skill: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
