About the Position- As a rural health midwife, you will have a profound impact on the lives of new mothers and their families.
- You will be involved in antenatal care, helping parents prepare for childbirth, and attending to postnatal needs in homes for the first 10 days after birth.
- Supporting new mothers with parenting, infant feeding, settling, sleep, and related topics based on their needs and aspirations.
- Provide antenatal advice and support to pregnant women and their partners.
- Attend births and provide postnatal care to new mothers and their babies.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for new mothers and their babies.
- Establish strong relationships with women and their families, and provide emotional support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatally.
