Job Description

Delivering on ASIC's purpose, vision, and strategic priorities is essential for maintaining the integrity of the financial system and protecting consumers from harm.

As a key contributor to this mission, you will play a crucial role in investigating suspected misconduct in areas regulated by ASIC.

  • Project manage and contribute to the investigation of suspected misconduct, analyzing large electronic data sets using specific software and drafting compulsory notices.
  • Conduct investigative tasks, including collecting and reviewing documents, interviewing witnesses, and providing legal advice on evidence required to prove contraventions.
  • Compile briefs of evidence for the CDPP and assist in preparing for and conducting criminal prosecutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in project management, data analysis, and investigative techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, with the ability to provide legal advice and draft compulsory notices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interview witnesses and compile briefs of evidence.
