You will:
  • Manage and conduct workplace investigations into allegations of misconduct or corrupt conduct made against QCS staff to a high standard taking into consideration risk prioritisation, complexity and appropriate timeframes with an appreciation of trauma informed approaches.
  • Supervise, manage and coach a team of Senior Investigators that makes up the broader Ethical Standards-Workplace Investigations Group.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge of, the legislation and policy applicable to managing staff misconduct complaints and workplace investigations in the public sector including the importance of applying trauma informed approaches.
  • Highly developed organisational and communication skills with the ability to set priorities taking into account risk, coordinate activities, manage staff/stakeholders, negotiate, meet deadlines and exercise sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining high level relationships and protocols with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level skills and expertise in the management of complex and sensitive case management at all levels including a thorough knowledge of the concepts of natural justice and procedural fairness.
  • Highly developed written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including mediation and negotiation skills and knowledge of contemporary complaints and investigation processes and techniques.
